Ever wanted to know an account manager’s dead or alive dream dinner party? How about the best piece of advice a marketing exec has ever been given? Get to know the newest bunch of talent that has burst through our doors.

Georgi is our brand-new Account Executive, fresh from the land of Northumbria University.

What are you most looking forward to about working at DC?

I’m looking forward to working with like-minded individuals in a collaborative and unique work environment, whilst starting my career in a fast-paced and exciting industry.

What’s the first gig you ever went to?

The first gig I ever went to was when I was 15 in Cyprus, where I saw UB40 and caught the drumstick!

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Working in rural Fiji in 2018 where I taught English to young children for a month. It was a real step out of my comfort zone but it was hands down the most rewarding experience ever.

Sam is our Account Manager who’s no stranger to agency life, having worked in London for the last five years.

What are you most looking forward to about working at DC?

I’ve always worked in large-scale global agencies so I’m excited to be part of an organisation that’s fiercely independent with creativity at its heart. I've been impressed by the culture here and I'm looking forward to working in an environment where individuality is encouraged.

If you could attend a dinner party with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Bob Mortimer. The funniest human on the planet. I’d give him cooking duties.
  2. Mary Earps. Living legend. I’d love to get the tea from inside the Lioness camp and see how she keeps her cool in the World Cup final.
  3. Wallace & Gromit. Wholesome energy, good lads, they could do with a night out.

Where is your dream holiday destination?

I’d have to go for a very long holiday in Australia and New Zealand, they’ve both been on my hit list for a very long time. The landscape is top tier, and there are some really exciting cities I’d love to have a mooch around too.

Emilia brings with her a whole new role for DC – introducing our all-new Marketing Executive.

What are you most looking forward to about working at DC?

Working alongside a really cool bunch of people, doing really exciting things. I loved getting a taste of DC’s work environment and the day-to-day agency life during my time at School of DC, and can’t wait until that becomes my norm.

What's the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

‘Have a cup of tea and a bath’. Foolproof advice. I find this solves around 99% of my problems.

If you were granted one ticket to watch a performance by any artist, regardless of time or place, who are you choosing?

To be very basic, I’d want to see Elvis in Las Vegas in the 1970s, during his prime. I’d like to say I’d be above being one of the screaming and crying fangirls – but that would be a lie.
