Sociable Folktales – Issue 55

By Richard Rippon, Copywriter

Black Friday – an annual feeding frenzy of consumerism, where bargain hunters can detect 20% off a single flat-screen TV from a distance of three miles. A day when we’re so used to news reports of all-out shopping scrums, that we were amused to watch the Oxford Street branch of Currys PC World open their doors two hours early, only to find a single bewildered customer. Has Black Friday lost its bite? We think it might have. That’s why we took the piss, with a Black Friday event of our own – #DrummondFriday. Read about this unique shopping extravaganza and lots of other things, in the excellent value new issue of Sociable Folktales.
