Sites We Like – #6

You know it’s a good week when there’s a website in collaboration with RZA from the Wu Tang Clan. But if that’s not enough we’ve also got a surprisingly great medical website, another in-browser game and more. Lots to be inspired by as always.

Remember: A lot of the sites we share use experimental web technologies. To see them at their best, be sure to use an up-to-date browser. We viewed them all in Google Chrome.

1. Gout

The sites that impress me the most are always the ones that take a boring subject and make something amazing with it. Medical sites are, for the most part, dull and uninspired, but this one shows that with a bit of imagination and creativity, they can be as good as they get. Great work.

2. Savor Wavs

It’s pretty much impossible for me not to like this site. It’s got all my favourite things. Music, food, good design, and all in collaboration with RZA from the Wu Tang Clan. To top it off, you can even remix a RZA beat by making a burrito. Come on.

3. Pentagram

It’s Pentagram. They have a new website. That’s all I need to say really.

4. Team Alpine

Another little game to kill some downtime. Seeing a lot more of these recently and the quality is always high. This one’s equally good and totally addictive. Impossible to beat that high score though.

5. Motion Type Project

This is one for typography lovers; a project experimenting with motion graphics and Chinese typefaces. The project goes beyond this website, but there’s still some great examples with information into why and how they’re made. Be sure to check their Instagram for more examples of the work. Really nice.
