Our hearts were broken on the 8th September this year when we lost our ray of sunshine, Jessica McEnroe to sepsis. We all loved her and we miss her.
Jess suffered from a very rare illness called ‘Mixed Connective Tissue Disease’, which meant her immune system was slowly attacking her body. She had plans to start a blog called Unpredictable Sunshine to help others with the illness, and even roped in one of our art workers to create the logo (love your work Sam).
To make sure Jess’ memory and boundless optimism lives on, Unpredictable Sunshine will now be our way of raising money for The UK Sepsis Trust on her behalf.
The goal is to raise £50,000 through various fundraising activities throughout the year, so watch this space. We’ll be keeping you posted on our progress and everything we’re up to.
In the meantime, please visit Jess’ JustGiving page and make a donation. With your help, the trust can help others stay and shine a little longer.
