After a 23-year absence, the last day of the 2007/08 season saw Stoke City FC make a triumphant return to the Premier League. They now needed a new brand identity that would embody their new status in the top flight of English football.
Our challenge was to support SCFC’s transition into a Premier League Club, both off the pitch as well as on it.
Having analysed the whole customer experience, we set about transforming it into a ‘Premier League Experience’. We tackled all advertising communications and fan touchpoints, including interior design of the training ground and Stadium, ticket and membership pack design and copywriting, its two retail outlets, and the all-important design and copy content for their corporate guidelines. This was all produced alongside yearly kit launches and Early Bird season ticket campaigns.
What we delivered
Following the Club’s promotion to the Premier League, and our appointment as its full-service agency, we rebranded SCFC and readied the brand, marketing collateral, and mindset for ongoing success.
We continue to work closely with the Club, ensuring the brand is continually streamlined across all departments, facilities and communications.
