A football team is nothing without its fans. And they don’t come more dedicated than a Potter. For them, the Stoke City kit is like a second skin. They wear it with total pride. It was therefore vital that, as well as featuring players, this campaign focused on the product and highlighted the bespoke elements of the design and manufacture.
Our job was straightforward but challenging: create a strong, impactful retail campaign to unveil the new home and away kits to the fans, and push sales both on and offline.
A few seasons back, we created a campaign to introduce the new sponsor. With the sponsor now well-established, we had the opportunity to focus more on the character of the Club, and give fans an exclusive insight into the players’ personalities. For maximum impact, the campaign was pushed out across social, YouTube, and the Club’s newly redesigned retail website.
What we delivered
Using bold colours and edgy graphics, our integrated ‘Own It’ campaign was visually powerful, exciting and inspired fans to show their loyalty in the new season.
We helped raise awareness of the new partnership and sponsorship deal with Macron, and boosted retail sales within the two Club stores and online. Result.
