Our planning team is growing, and we’re looking for a junior/mid-weight planner to join us. Maybe you call yourself a strategist – that’s cool too. If you’ve got at least a year’s experience as a planner, strategist, or insight pro, read on.
We’re after an energetic, creative and curious person who can come up with strategic points of view, help solve problems, overcome challenges, and unlock our clients’ ambitions. The right person will be a natural-born truth-seeker, with a hunger to work out what really makes people, brands and culture tick.
You’ll use a range of research and strategy approaches to find killer insights, and be hell-bent on immersing yourself in the sectors, categories and client worlds we work in.
You’ll be joining a team that’s had a busy year doing things like:
- Developing the award-winning Greggs Vegan Steak Bake campaign
- Using behavioural insight to develop a campaign to reduce the spread of Covid in the North East
- Establishing a new strategic platform for People’s Postcode Lottery
- Honing a safer gambling campaign for bet365
You’ll be involved throughout the whole planning cycle, from client brief, insight and strategy development, to creative briefing, development and effectiveness evaluation.
Ideally you’ll know your way around research methods, marketing theory and comms channels. You won’t be shy about diving head first into data, and you’ll always be willing to have a point of view on the latest cultural goings on.
The right person will find themselves becoming a valued strategic voice in the agency and for our clients, helping to deliver effective creative solutions. You’ll need to be a razor-sharp communicator, someone colleagues and clients will pay attention to. You’ll have the support of the senior planners and others in the agency, but you’ll be able to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and always hit deadlines.
We’re known for being a down-to-earth, friendly and hard-working bunch. We wear our hearts on our sleeves and when you’re part of the DC family we really look out for each other.
If you’re a creative, ambitious self-starter who gets off on solving problems, quit your job immediately and send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org with Planner in the subject. We’re already excited to meet you.
